Core School Kit - 12 coloured pencils, 6 graphite pencils, 2 hole enclosed sharpener and 2 erasers.

Essential School Kit - 12 coloured pencils, 6 graphite pencils, 2 hole enclosed sharpener and 2 erasers.

The difference between the pencils in the Core and Essential Kit is age of user. Both are student grade however you would give the Essential to an older child who is preparing to do a lot more art than what school offers - like join Mrs Red's art classes for example!
