Rare original vintage 1920's 600A double button carbon microphone also known as a closed ring microphone. Most likely made by Western Electric but not marked anywhere except underneath with the number B56790 it retains its original cord and socket plug. Unfortunately I have no way of testing this piece but it is is great looking condition with nothing missing and the inside appears intact. The original metal casing base appears to be cast from one piece. The back removes easily for investigation.

A great addition to your vintage microphone collection or a fabulous housewarming gift for a recording enthusiast.

Base measures 5.25" diameter, microphone measures 5.25" diameter by 7.75" tall and weighs 6lb 5oz

CONDITION

In good condition considering age and use. I have no way of testing the item to see if it works but it appears to have been well looked after - please see all pictures as they form part of the description.
